Express Entry draw nine occurred late Friday evening after more than one month from the previous draw.
The good news is many more invitations to apply have been awarded since the last draw - around double the amount to 1361 (draw eight only had 715 ITA's). The not so great news? The point threshold is back up again... way up past the 600 point mark.
With a minimum CRS point score of 755 this time, those without a job offer backed by a LMIA will have to wait for the next draw to see if the score will settle back down again. The previous draw was at a point level of 453, with hopeful applicants expecting a lower score this time.
Although we predicted more invitations, the surge in CRS scores is unexpected. We'll have an updated analysis of all draws to date next week.
